- Document Description
- The purpose of the project is to meet a critical need for a new high school campus to accommodate new students and overflow students. The project involves constructing and operating a high school serving 1,600-2,000 students in grades 9-12 and employing 100-120 staff members. The high school is proposed for development on one of four potential sites in the southeastern portion of Chico. The proposed project would include classrooms, administrative buildings, ball fields, basketball courts, a football stadium, and on-site parking, to be constructed on a 50-acre or larger high school site. Construction is expected to begin in 2004 and be completed in 2 years.
