Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed
Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number BUT-53465-R2, pursuant to
section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Sutter Butte Flood Control
Agency as represented by Michael Bessette.
The project proposes to improve an existing recreational site located within the Oroville Wildlife
Area. The project will replace an existing trailered boat launch facility with new facilities, which
include a trailered boat launch and a non-trailered boat launch. Additionally, the project will
create boat/trailer staging areas, 25 campsites, paved access roads, paved parking areas,
recreational trails, and ancillary structures such as vault restrooms, trash receptacles, picnic
tables, and signage. The project will include landscaping with native plants. The project will
utilize bulldozers, forklifts, hydraulic excavators, water trucks, flatbed haul trucks, diesel pumps,
compactors, graders, 10-wheel dump trucks, concrete trucks and pumps, and paving machines.
