The 2002 Monterey Bay Metropolitan Transportation Plan is a multi-modal, 20+ year transportation plan for the 3-county Monterey Bay Region. Inclusion of transportation projects and programs in the MTP provide the first step in acquiring federal funding (transportation) for improvements. The MTP conforms to the State Implementation Plan for Air Quality.
