Document Description
The proposed project consists of maintenance tasks required to repair erosion damage to materials in the existing Miles Avenue Bridge structure' s vicinity. The project regrades washouts in the channel embankment adjacent to the Miles Avenue bridge, and reinforces scour protection at the bridge columns. Rock slope protection will be Installed at storm drain outfalls on the west and east side of the south bridge abutment as maintenance prevention measures. The maintenance tasks for the proposed project are covered under Coachella Valley Water District Encroachment Permit No. 05CI624-2-027. The proposed project footprint (area of disturbance) is within the same footprint (area of disturbance) analyzed under the approved MND (December 2001, Resolution No. 2001-58). This NOD is filed following approval by the City Council of the construction bid which occurred on April 6. 2023.
