Document Description
The proposed project is the adoption of a Specific Plan by the City of Lake Forest through the authority granted by California Governmental Code, Title 7, Division 1, Chapter 3, Article 8, Sections 65450 and 65457. The Specific Plan will establish goals, policies, and programs to address the special land use, circulation, economic and aesthetic issues in the Specific Plan area. The Specific Plan is both a regulatory and policy oriented document. The zoning related portions of the Specific Plan include land use designations, permitted uses and development standards based on the core Revitalization Scenario and Revisioning Strategy. If approved, these regulatory provisions will supersede other regulations and ordinances of the City for the control of land use and development within the Specific Plan boundaries. The goals and policies, development guidelines, and streetscape design concepts are intended as City policies to provide direction for future planning and development efforts within the Specific Plan area, including both public and private improvements.
