Document Description
LAUSD proposes to construct a new high school on properties bounded by Emerald Drive on the north, West 2nd Street and Bixel Street on the east, West 4th Street and Miramar Street on the south, and Lucas Avenue on the west in the City of Los Angeles. The proposed high school would have a total enrollment of 2,381 students in grades 9-12 with approximately 1,701 students in session at one time. The proposed high school would contain a total of 72 classrooms consisting of 59 regular classrooms, ten special education classrooms and three set-aside classrooms. Site is comprised of 110 parcels, and is approximately 20.5 acres in size (with the field being approximately 17 acres and the building being approximately 3.5 acres).
