Document Description
The project is for the minor subdivision of the 13.2 acre Barrack property, Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) 513-130-13, into four legal parcels and a remainder parcel. Parcels 2, 3, and 4 will take access from Eucalyptus Drive, and Parcel 1 and the Remainder Parcel will take access from Dehesa Mountain Lane at the northern boundary of the project site. The project will grade 5000 cubic yards of cut at a slope at 1.5:1 slope and 500 cubic yards of fill at a slope of 2:1. The project will directly impact 2.29 acres of Coastal sage scrub, and 0.69 acres of Non-native grasslands. The project will fully mitigate for the loss of Coastal sage scrub and Non-native grasslands with onsite preservation and offsite purchase of habitat in a County approved mitigation bank. Impacts to 2.29 acres will be mitigated at a 1.5:1 ratio with the onsite preservation of 3.56 acres of Coastal sage scrub proposed in a biological open space easement. Non-native grasslands will be mitigated at a 0.5:1 ratio through the onsite preservation of 0.13 acres to Tier II Coastal sage scrub, and the purchase of 0.22 acres on Non-native grassland or better habitat in a County approved mitigation bank.
