Document Description
The project proposed for development is a new elementary school consisting of classrooms, a media center, administration facilities, support facilities, and turfed fields and asphalt play areas. The project will also include special education and therapy facilities, in coordination with the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools. The proposed Elementary School will serve 500-650 students in grades K-5. The school buildings will consist of a total of 52,682 square feet consisting of a school campus of 37,982 square feet, County Special Education classrooms of 4,440 square feet, future portable classrooms of 5,760 square feet, and California Children's Therapy Unit of 4,500 square feet. The elementary school will employ 30 staff members. Hours of operation are tentatively scheduled to be 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. However, occasional evening programs are anticipated.
