Document Description
The project proposes the subdivision of 2,280 acres into 70 lots for single-family residential development plus 5 open space lots. A total of 700 acres (31%) of the property would be devoted to private residential lots. Three recreation areas are identified in the proposed Specific Plan; Subsequent permits would be required to operate the recreational areas once the uses are defined. In addition, a 13-acre site has been identified in the central area of the property to support some form of equestrian facilities for the exclusive use of Big Country Ranch residents. Additional amenities are proposed. Approximately two-thirds of the property (1,540 acres) including the entire floodplain of Tule Creek would be devoted to open space.
