Document Description
The applicant proposes project activity involving water drafting at one pre-existing site from Hollow Tree Creek, a stream known to support anadromous Coho salmon (Oncorhynchus Kistutch), chinook (Oncorhynchus tshawtscha), and steelhead trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss). Hollow Tree Creek is a tributary to the South Fork of the Eel River. Water may be drafted into water trucks for daily timber harvest road watering activities from the stream flow during the early summer and from a sump water hole in the dry gravel bar as the river recedes.
