The applicant proposes the following three proposed projects, that have the potential to substantially divert or obstruct the natural flow or substantially change the streambed, channel, or bank of a watercourse, involve: (1) replacement of two culverts on a Class II perennial watercourse; and (2) drafting from a permanent water storage tank (adjacent to the haul road) that collects water from a nearby Class II watercourse. All projects are associated with the Timber Harvest Plan THP 1-01-172 MEN, Scudder Gulch, located in the DeHaven Creek drainage, Mendocino County. The property owner is Hawthorne Timber Company, LLC (HTC) Fort Bragg, California.
