Document Description
The USAR 63D RSC proposes to reuse approximately eight acres of land on the former U.S. Navy Shipyard on Mare Island in Vallejo to develop an operational maintenance support (OMS)/Marine Area Maintenance Support Activity (AMSA) support facility to support enhanced training operations in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Proposed Action would include demolition of two buildings and construction of a new building in a developed, industrial area adjacent to the wharf along the Mare Island Strait. The Proposed Action would also include construction of a military equipment parking area and repair of the seawall between the piers on the east side of the property.
