Document Title
Application to Appropriate Water No. 30674
Document Type
NEG - Negative Declaration
Received
Present Land Use
Agricultural watershed
Document Description
The proposed project is to enlarge an existing small on-stream reservoir (which typically does not hold water for long) to hold up to 25 acre-feet of water (Point of Diversion [POD] 1) and to install the necessary pumping facilities to allow diversion of water to storage from an existing offset well adjacent to Redwood Creek (POD 3). Because the reservoir is just below the watershed dividing the Redwood Creek drainage from the Unnamed Stream drainage, it will be a "fill-and-spill" facility. The applicant proposes to plant approximately 6 acres of grapes and plans to use some of the water for lawn and garden irrigation around the house.
