Extension of existing State Route 70 freeway southwest 4.8 kilometers, upgrading the existing two-lane expressway. The project begins 1.6 kilometers north of Palermo Road and ends at the existing freeway 0.5 kilometers south of the State Route 162 Junction. The project includes an interchange at Ophir Road and an overcrossing at Georgia Pacific Way.
