The City of Carson is proposing a comprehensive update of all elements of the Carson General Plan, with the exception of the Housing Element, which was adopted previously in February 2022.The General Plan would be the primary policy document guiding growth and development within the Planning Area through the planning horizon year of 2040. The Update will include six of seven elements mandated by State law, address Environmental Justice, and may include additional elements.
