Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the Project applicant, AT&T Corporation. The applicant proposes to install a new fiber optic cable in conduit installed approximately 60-inches below the soil surface using horizontal directional drilling equipment. Four (4) "bore assist pits" each approximately 2 feet wide and 4 feet long, would be dug at 300 to 500 foot intervals to enable the drilling operations. All work would be conducted within the railroad right-of-way. Equipment to be used include a backhoe, bore rig, trucks, compressors, and cable reels.
