Document Description
The County of San Luis Obispo is proposing to replace a section of the 24-inch diameter Salinas Pipeline through Trout Creek on the Santa Margarita Ranch. The water from the pipeline is the principal source of water for the City of San Luis Obispo. Construction will involve trenching through the bed and banks of Trout Creek and lowering the pipeline approximately 8 feet from its present depth. The maximum disturbance will be approximately 13,000 square feet. The project will be constructed during the dry season when it is expected that there will be no surface flow in the creek.
