Document Description
The County of San Luis Obispo is proposing to repair bank erosion on Trout Creek in order to protect an exposed section of the Salinas Pipeline. The project involves the placement of vegetated rock rip rap along the creek bank, selective trimming of willows blocking the creek channel, and redirection of the low flow channel away from the eroded creek bank. The project is located on Trout Creek within the boundaries of the Santa Margarita Ranch, approximately 1.5 miles southeast of the community of Santa Margarita, in San Luis Obispo County.
