Document Description
The project is the issuance by the California Depatment of Fish and Game ("Department") of a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement ("agreement") to MCI Metro ("applicant"), represented by Mr. Jerry Slagel, in conjunction with the applicant's proposal to construct a fiber optics cable. The agreement authorizes the applicant to proceed with those parts of the project that will impact river and streams along the cable route within the Department's jurisdiction pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 1601. This Notice of Determination applies only to the Department's issuance of the agreement, and not to the construction of the fiber optics project as a whole.
