Document Description
Maintenance of a side channel of the Kaweah River to restore water flow to several river wells by removing silt deposits remaining from high flows in 1997. The project will remove approximately 70 cubic yards of material from two sections of the side channel. Thirty cubic yards of the material excavated from the side channel will be spread evenly outside the river's high water channel and 40 cubic yards of the material will be spread evenly on the open areas of the sandbar, which separates the side channel of the Kaweah River. No vegetation will be removed or damaged.
