Pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15301, "The operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alteration of existing public or private structures, facilities, equipment or other property of every kind, which activity involves negligible or no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of the School District's determination." This project includes structural and utility infrastructure retrofitting of existing school facilities to meet code requirements for Division of the State Architect approval. This retrofitting will not expand capacity at these schools. This replacement will have substantially the same purpose and will not expand capacity at these schools. This project will not create significant impacts on the environment.
