Document Description
Maintenace and upgrade of the Homestead Dam that has deteriorated over the years and is leaking. The maintenance activities are proposed in accordance with the Dam Safety Maintenance and Repair Program, and consist of replacing the outlet pipe, installing erosion control devices for bank stabilization, removal of woody vegetation from the dam surface and revegetation with non-woody native plants. All activities within the pond boundary will occur while it is dry to minimize impacts to water quality and aquatic habitat.
