Document Description
The project consists of stabilizing approximately 150 feet of visibly weakening creek bank adjacent to the Tank Farm Building on the property. The failing bank will be placed by a constructed rip-rap faced embankment at a slope of 1-1/2:1 over the length of the creek bank immediately adjacent to the Tank Farm Building. This rock slope protection will transition to the existing downstream creek bank 25 feet to the west of the building, as well as east to the limits of an existing concrete retaining wall. A backhoe/loader will be used to transport and place the rock slope protection. The creek bank excavation will include the removal of seven oak trees ranging from 4 inches dbh to 24 inches dbh. Native oak trees will be planted to mitigate for the loss of these trees. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2001-0205 pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1603.
