Document Description
The operator proposes to improve rearing habitat for coho salmon and steelhead trout in a selected section of Santa Rosa and Millington Creeks, tributaries to the Russian River, Sonoma County located in Township 7N, Range 7W, Section 16. One large wood structure (consisting of a total of 2 logs or rootwads) will be installed on Millington Creek, and 2 boulder weirs on South Fork Santa Rosa Creek below the confluence with Millington Creek to improve fish passage. All installations will be anchored to existing bedrock, boulders or trees. All work shall be accomplished in the summer low flow period to minimize effects on juvenile salmonids. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2000-1113 pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1603.
