Document Description
The INRMP will emphasize a continued ecosystem management approach by Edwards AFB in concert with the Air Force mission. One goal of an ecosystem management approach is to protect the properties and functions of natural ecosystems. Since these ecosystems extend beyond the installation's boundaries, the Air Force's natural resources management will also include coordination and partnerships with agencies that have natural resources in the surrounding areas, achieving a balance between resource users, developing mechanisms to establish and maintain partnerships, and establishing an enhanced environmental education program.
