Caltrans is proposing to build a new resident mechanic's facility within the property limits of the existing Garberville Maintenance Station. The proposed building will measure 55' x 77' and will be located at the rear of the yard. The maintenance station is listed on the 1998 Hazardous Waste and Substance List and therefore this project is not exempt under CEQA.
