Document Description
The San Bernardino County Superintendant of Schools (SBCSS) proposes to undertake the acquisition of approximately 1.9 acres of undeveloped property located on the northeast corner of the intersection of Meadow Grove Drive and Gibralter Drive, for the purpose of constructing the proposed Green Tree East Special Education Preschool (Project). The Project is proposed to include three relocatable classrooms, totaling approximately 4,500 square feet. The Project contemplates construction of classroom facilities organized in single-story buildings with covered walkways and fencing. Facilities to be constructed include classrooms for up to 39 preschool students age three months through pre-kindergarten; kitchenettes within the classrooms; parking facilities for visitors and staff with approximately 38 parking spaces; parent loading/drop-off area; bus loading/drop-off area; and hardscape and turf playfields. Lighting includes low level security lighting, signage lighting, and illumination of the surface parking lot and associated pedestrian areas.
