Document Description
Phase I: To bring a non-conforming composting facility into compliance for the processing of 100 tons per day of green waste and agricultural commodities (manure, cull fruit and vegetables, other waste products), and engineered pad will be constructed over time using clean inert material to provide a more stable working surface; Phase 2: increase processing by additional 100 tons per day including food waste in an in-vessel composting operation. Green material to be received in trucks, spread and cleaned of contaminants, ground by mechanical means, placed into windows, other materials to be added, watered, screened and cured, and shipped from the site in trucks. Storage to include a total of 50,000 cubic yards of materials (raws, in-process, and processed) on-site at any one time.
