A General Plan Amendment (GPA-52), Specific Plan (SP-S-23); Pre-Zoning Application, a Tentative Tract Map, Annexation into the City of Simi Valley and Ventura County Waterworks District Number 8 and reorganization to remove the area from the Ventura County Resource Conservation District. Approval would allow changes in land use designations which ultimately may permit the development of a business park including approximately 3.5 million square feet of interior space, 1,617 residential dwelling units, a 189-acre regional park, a 125-acre cemetery, a school site, 30,000 square feet of neighborhood commercial facilities, an 80-acre community park, a neighborhood park, a six-acre detention basin and 1,329 acres of open space. Project site is 2,880 acres in size located within the City of Simi Valley Sphere of Influence north of the 118 Freeway between the proposed northerly extension of Erringer Road and the City of Moorpark boundary.
