Document Description
As part of the development of a 1.8 acre site into a 4 lot subdivision, the operator proposes to install 2 sewer pipes under the bed and an outfall structure on the south bank of Galindo Creek, behind the residence at 1039 Ridge Park Court in Concord, Contra Costa County. An 8 inch and a 6 inch sewer pipe will be installed approximately 3-4 feet below the existing creek bed surrounded by 5 cubic yards of concrete. Loose rock riprap will be placed approximately 1' below the existing creek bed over the concrete protected pipes, and 3 linear feet upstream and no more than 15 linear feet downstream of the pipes. Twelve inches of salvaged bed material will be used to backfill over the riprap. Approximately 10' upstream of the sewer pipes, an 18 inch storm drainpipe will outfall on to the south bank using the county standard B-50 plan, utilizing riprap. The total linear feet of impact due to the sewer pipes is approximately 22 feet. The project location is the south bank of Galindo Creek, behind the residence at 1039 Ridge Park Court in Concord, Contra Costa County. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 2001-0433 pursuant to Section 1603 of the Fish and Game Code to the project operator, William Kunz.
