Document Description
The project involves the rebuilding and restoration of a 426-foot long bridge over San Luis Obispo Creek. The existing stone retaining walls will be restored by internal drilling and reinforcement; the bridge deck and superstructure will be replaced. Provisions are included for the protection of steelhead and several species of bats. Re-vegetation will occur on slopes adjacent to the tunnel openings. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2001-0150 pursuant to Section 1601 of the Fish and Game Code to the project operator.
