Document Description
This project will dispose of remediated groundwater from the excavated pit area by using a temporary submersible pump to pump untreated water from the pit through a carbon filter system into a tanker truck equipped with spray nozzles. The truck will transport the water to an onsite 22-acre location north of the soil remediation area and spray the approximately 22,000 gallons/day of remediated groundwater over the non-permeable pre-plated field for evaporation of the remediated water. This site is highly disturbed due to the previous use as an open burning pit and will not affect any sensitive biological resources.
