Document Description
Initiate archival and field research to document archaeological sites and indentify current impacts to sites at Sonoma Coast State Beach. Recommend management alternatives, along with need for additional research. Selected sites will be re-recorded and mapped. Monitoring hubs may be installed at very limited number of sites to quantify impacts due to coastal erosion. Installation of hubs would be the only ground-disturbing activity related to this project and that would be minimal, with no significant environmental impact.
