Document Description
Document potential predators of the threatened western snowy plover in Ingelnook Fen-Ten Mile Dunes Preserve at MacKerricher State Park. For avian predators, project will try to establish the local population level (including seasonal fluctuations) and document behavioral patterns. Tracking plates will be used to determine mammalian predators and photo documentation will help distinguish between red fox and gray fox behavioral patterns. No ground-activities are anticipated during this project. No animals or birds will be handled or removed from their habitat.
