Document Description
The project consists of the expansion of the existing Resource Management Office located at the Trinidad Fire Station. The project involves expanding the current building an additional 14 feet to the east for a total addition of 336 square feet. The new addition will be used as office space for two new staff members, as the current office space is not sufficient. The construction will also encompass the building of two interior walls within the present structure to add an extra office. The proposed building site is currently a lawn. Clearing of grass will be the extent of excavation needed to create the foundation for the proposed construction.

The Class 1 exemption consists of the minor alteration of existing public or private structures (among others). This project involves negligible expansion of an existing use. The addition to the new structure is less than 50% of the floor area, in fact it is approximately 33% of the floor area. There are no cultural resources located in or around the project site. No tree removal will be needed to complete the expansion. No flora, fauna, or sensitive habitat will be disturbed or impaired by the project. There will be no impact to archeological resources. Minimal excavation will be required to form a foundation for the proposed building.
