Document Description
The project would consists of placing aggregate base on an almost flat area that was heavily disturbed by construction of the Thermalito Afterbay embankment to provide vehicular parking for users of the adjacent bike trail. The designated parking area would be approximately 50 feet by 100 feet and would provide parking for 9 vehicles, including one handicapped space. Access would be from East Hamilton Road along the existing access road at the toe of the embankment.

The proposed project consists of a small parking lot appurtenant to an existing bike trail. The site is vegetated with annual grassland; there are no wetlands, vernal pools, or habitat for special-status species within the area to be disturbed by construction activities, nor do any of the exceptions to categorical exemptions, as specified in Section 15300.2 of the CEQA Guidelines, apply to the proposed project.
