An existing California Integrated Waste Board Solid Waste Facility (SWFP) permitted boundary of the Yuba Sutter Disposal, Inc., Integrated Waste Recovery Facility is to be decreased from 18.2 acres to 7.1 acres, thus excluding an area that has been and continues to be used as a metal recycling area.

Reasons for Exemption
The change in the boundary in the existing SWFP will not have a significant impact on the environment, in that no changes in activities on the excluded area are proposed, thereby making the project not subject to CEQA. The metal yard is situated on top of a landfill closed in 1994 and is subject to quarterly inspections by the LEA as required under a Closure/Postclosure plan.
