Document Description
This proposal is the result of a road construction contractor casting soil, cobbles, and large rocks down the bank of this drainage during road construction. This action resulted in damage to existing vegetation. In addition, rock check dams were installed in the creek bed to slow flow and reduce erosion. The above actions occured without notification to the California Department of Fish and Game (DFG) and the case was referred to the Napa County District Attorney's Office for further action. This proposal is a result of the referral and was completed with review by DFG personnel. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2001-0333 pursuant to the Fish and Game Code Section 1603.
