Document Description
This project consists of installing a railroad car deck for a bridge crossing. The bridge abutments will be out of the creek and on the top of the bank. Natural rock rip-rap will be placed on the creek banks in the area of the bridge abutments and extend down to the bottom the creek. The bridge abutments are approximately 28 feet long and eight feet wide. Approximately 1,800 cubic feet of rip-rap will be used to prevent erosion to the abutments. Work will be done during the summer months when the creek is dry. All bare areas will be reseeded with native seed after construction is completed and before the rainy season. Revegetation mitigation for the placed rip-rap will be within the general vicinity of the bridge. Silt fences will be placed on top of the creek banks before construction begins to prevent silt from entering the creek. All work will be from the top of bank. No equipment will be used in the creek. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2001-0200 pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1603.
