Document Description
The project consists of a grant application to the California State Office of Criminal Justice Planning for funding of the TARGET: Drug Supression in Schools Program that is designed to work with students identified as at-risk of violence, drug dependencies and/or similar high risk behaviors in need of intervention. The program will provide the following services: a Fresno County Sheriff's Deputy to work at the high school campus, training of school staff to assist them to help students use various strategies to decrease inappropriate and habitual dependencies, on-going students assessments and professional guidance to support parents and students, and a staff composed of a district administrator, a program secretary, a deputy sheriff, and a licensed clinical social worker.
