Document Description
The project consists of three exploratory borings within the channel and bank of Conn Creek. One boring will be within the bed of the creek and the other two borings will be on the top of either bank. The bore hole diameter will be 5 inches maximum and will be to a depth of 50-60 feet. The drilling will be accomplished with a wheeled drilling vehicle that will access the creek bed at an existing crossing approximately 570 feet downstream of the drill site. The drill vehicle will enter the stream at this point and drive upstream in the streambed to the drill site. The in-stream work is anticipated to take two weeks. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2001-0428 pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1601.
