Document Description
The purpose of this contract is to evaluate the effects of chlorine dioxide preoxidation on ozone demand, and thus energy consumption, at a water treatment plant in the Contra Costa Water District. This project meets the Public Interest Energy Research (PIER) goal of improving the energy cost/value of California's electricity by reducing energy consumption in water treatment facilities.
