Document Description
An agreement between the City of Thousand Oaks and Shapell Industries, Inc. regarding how the City will process development applications filed by Shapell Industries, Inc. for development of Specific Plan 7, Planning Unit 2 (the Western Plateau). The agreement allows the City to delay analysis and evaluation of the development proposal for Planning Unit 2 and to toll the expiration of Shapell Industries, Inc.'s development rights while the City separately reviews and evaluates development applications for the Dos Vientos Ranch which are part of a development rights transfer proposal. If those separate development applications of the development rights transfer proposal are approved, the City will receive Specific Plan 7, Planning Unit 2 (the Western Plateau) as public open space. No assurances as to any future entitlements or approvals have been given by the City regarding such development proposals. All referenced development proposals shall be fully reviewed under CEQA with an appropriate environmental document prepared by the City.
