Document Description
The proposed project would consist of two adjoining parcels on the south side of Center Street between Milvia Street and Shattuck Avenue, together measuring about 29,750 square feet. The project would also involve discontinuation of surface parking on the eastern parcel; the parking lot on this parcel accommodates 54 cars. Vacation and demolition of the building on the western parcel is also involved; the existing building is a wood frame, concrete, and concrete block structure. The new Vista College Building would be six-stories high, accommodating classrooms, labs, offices, and assembly areas. The ground floor (one-half level down from Center Street) would provide space for some vehicle accommmodations and more than a half floor of usable space.
