Construction of seismic upgrades for East Bay Municipal Utilities District (EBMUD) Claremont Tunnel including a 9-foot (ft) diameter by 1,500-ft long bypass tunnel with an 8-ft by 80-ft long protective pipe; 9-ft diameter by 700-ft long access tunnel; entry portal and grout injection reinforcement of the existing tunnel lining, temporary contractor staging and equipment storage areas.
