Document Description
The proposed project consists of the construction of 6 acres of freshwater wetlands. Recycled water from the City's new wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) will flow into the wetlands and discharge into the North Slough before it enters a tidal marsh. The tidal marsh is connected to the lower Napa River. The new WWTP was designed to incorporate the requirements of the California Department of Health Services for tertiary recycled water, which permits the treated water to be used for unrestricted irrigation and discharge to the North Slough.
