Document Description
The Victor Valley Water District proposes to install a pilot recharge project in Oro Grande Wash to assess the feasibility of recharging State Project Water into the Mojave River Alto Subarea regional aquifer. The project proposes the recharge of up to 1,300 acre-feet of potable water from the District's wells over the year of the proposed study. Using monitoring wells the District will assess the time, distance and mixing characteristics of the potable water being recharged at the project site as it interacts with the groundwater table beneath the recharge location.
