The West San Gabriel River Park project provides for $1 million Phase I development of a $2.5 million 28-acre open space park improvement project, adjacent to the west side of the San Gabriel River. The Phase I project provides for the $1 million development of 16 acres of open space from Monte Verde Park on the north to Carson Boulevard on the south in the City of Lakewood.
