Document Description
The proposed storm drain consists of approximately 2,330 linear feet of reinforced concrete pipe varying in size from 24 to 60 inches in diameter. The pipeline will run along Dominguez Street and Jamison Avenue and outlet into the lower reach of existing Project 1232. Project 1232 is a rectangular concrete channel at the location of the project. The proposed pump station will be built in a vacant lot near the terminus of Torrance Boulevard at Jamison Avenue. The purpose of the project is to alleviate flooding along the project alignment. During construction, the contractor will be required to follow the standard specifications of Los Angeles County Public Works pertaining to project site maintenance and construction activities.
