The Cal-IT2 facility is designed to be 215,000 gross square feet to accommodate office and research space, inlcuding a specialized "clean room", and a nanoscale fabrication laboratory. The proposed facility consists of 2 two-story wings on each side of a six-story tower. The site for the proposed project is within the Warren College neighborhood on the UC San Diego campus, adjacent to the future Bioengineering and future Computer Science and Engineering Building.
